Uses

Used in the production of butyl acetate, dibutyl phthalate and phosphoric acid plasticizers, used as a solvent for fats, waxes, resins, shellac varnishes, etc., and also used in the production of melamine resins, acrylic acid, epoxy varnishes, etc.

Fire-fighting measures

Due to the high boiling point and low volatility, it is not dangerous except for high temperature use. Method: use foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide mist water, sand to extinguish the fire.

Emergency treatment

Skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing and rinse the skin thoroughly with soap and water.

Eye contact: Lift the eyelid and rinse with running water or saline. Seek medical attention.

Packaging, storage, transportation
